Our Farm Story

Twin Organics is a family-owned certified organic vegetable farm located just north of Northfield, Minnesota. We grow and sell organic produce and plant starts throughout the Twin Cities region, with a focus on quality, consistency, and long-term relationships.

Twin brothers Jacob and Andrew Helling co-own and manage the farm. We grew up on a small diversified farm outside Brookings, South Dakota, where we developed an early appreciation for the work, problem-solving, and responsibility that comes with farming. Those roots continue to shape how we run Twin Organics today.

Twin Organics began as a diversified wholesale vegetable operation serving primarily restaurants. After three seasons near River Falls, Wisconsin, we purchased our current farm, the former home of Gardens of Eagan. The property includes about 120 acres, a packing facility, a shop, and 1.5 acres of greenhouse space. We began organic production here in 2018 and have expanded our operations every year since.

Today, Twin Organics supplies high-quality organic produce to grocery stores, co-ops, and food hubs throughout the region. We specialize in tomatoes, cucumbers, scallions, peppers, zucchini, and numerous other kinds of produce. We also sell organic plant starts.
