Grants

Twin Organics has received funding support from the Minnesota Department of Agriculture through the Agricultural Growth, Research, and Innovation (AGRI) Program and the Minnesota Value-Added Grant Program. In accordance with Minnesota Department of Agriculture grant requirements and Minn. Stat. § 16B.98, Twin Organics provides public acknowledgment of this funding.

Through the Value-Added Grant, Twin Organics is investing in an onion packing line to improve post-harvest handling, increase efficiency, and expand market opportunities for locally grown onions.

Through the AGRI Sustainable Agriculture Demonstration Grant, Twin Organics is conducting a project titled “Improving Irrigation and Fertigation Efficiency in Minnesota Greenhouse Tomatoes and Cucumbers.” The goal of this project is to improve irrigation and fertigation uniformity, reduce salinity-related stress, and stabilize yields in Minnesota greenhouse tomato and cucumber systems.

As part of the AGRI work, Twin Organics will host a public field day in Fall 2027 to share results and practical insights with other growers.

Funding from these programs supports innovation, efficiency, and long-term viability of Minnesota agriculture.
